SUMMER 2007 - Utopium and the BBC on tour.

Utopium is currently providing technical support and logistic solutions to no less than three different BBC tours.
Utopium are supplying transport and technical aspects to “BBC News and Sport on tour, Play It Again and Your Game”.

Now in it’s sixth year BBC News and Sport on tour, once again hits the road this summer to give you a behind-the-scenes look at BBC News, Sport and Weather.
Besides trucking the summer long event, Utopium is supplying all trussing and lighting to help give this event it’s realistic “studio” feel as well as providing power distribution for all manner of studio equipment and interactive computer displays. On top of supplying kit for this tour, there are also Utopium crew members on site to look after the technical aspects of the gig, and to lend a helping hand when required.  

Following the success of the TV series, Play it Again is now on a nationwide tour to give people a chance to get involved in music.
Providing mainly logistical solutions to this particular tour, Utopium have added a new vehicle to the fleet to cater for the specific aspects of trucking an event such as this.
As with News and Sport, Utopium are also providing Lighting, Rigging and Power distribution to Play it Again helping to create this events unique atmosphere. Utopium are also providing crew to aid and support the smooth running of the event.

For it’s second national tour “Your Game” makes a triumphant return this year. This year's tournament will visit 10 venues across England between April and June featuring 400 teams and over 2800 players selected by a range of national and regional community partners. Each venue will feature a five-a-side street football competition with the tournament and fair play winners earning a place in the national final to be held in July.
Again Utopium are supplying many of the technical aspects to this tour as well as providing transport in yet another new vehicle added to the fleet specifically for Your game. Also, as with the other tours, crew have been supplied to help manage and support the event.
