Utopium provided all the Production for another successful year at the Youth4Youth event in Bristol.

Utopium were given the task for a 2^nd year in a row of providing all the technical production for the Bristol based Youth4Youth music festival which took place on Saturday September 4^th 2010. Utopium supplied and installed all aspects of the technical equipment including a bespoke custom built roof system.

Lighting was provided by a fully automated rig, consisting of Mac 2000 Washlights, Mac 500 and Mac 600 units as well as custom built silver Martin Mac 301’s and Ipix BB4. Control was supplied by an Avolites Pearl Expert.

The festival saw over 40 bands play within 10 hours on one stage which kept the stage crew very busy turning each band around as quickly as possible. Most of the bands at the event were up and coming youth bands who were given the chance to showcase their music in a professional festival environment.
The headliner band was ‘The Blackout’ from Wales. Touring LD Michael Straun brought his own Avolites Tiger Touch to the event to allow him to program his own unqiue live show for ‘The Blackout’s’ set.
