This year’s HCA Awards was a triumph once again thanks to the hard working Utopium Lighting team.

Utopium Lighting was asked to provide all the lighting, rigging, power distribution and transport for the event that took place in Camden’s prestigious Roundhouse venue.

The venue presents certain challenges because of its circular shape, however it has been fitted with perfect rigging points that suited our needs, making the installation straightforward.

The 2009 awards ceremony was a good chance for us to showcase some of our new LED fixtures that had only just arrived in the country. Colour Kinetics Colour reach units are a very bright RGB colour wash. They have a beam distance of roughly 60m, making them more than powerful enough to illuminate the set in the venue.
