Sunday the 5th December saw Utopium lighting back in Leicester Square for the Premiere of Disneys latest film, Tron. 

We were asked to create a few ground supported towers to illuminate the red carpet and also to erect a two legged ground support to hang the LED Screen from at the end of the carpet.

We used the following equipment on this premiere;

8x iPix BB4

8x Mac 2000 Profile

6x Mac 2000 Wash

9x Pollox 5000w Fresnel

6x Atomic 3000

The film uses a new technology called LightTape in nearly all of the costumes and a lot of the set and they wanted to transfer this across to the film premiere as well. The carpet was lined with LightTape to give it a futuristic glow. This can be seen working great in the video below.
