Utopium Transform Bristol’s Wills Memorial Building

Utopium transformed Bristol’s iconic Wills Memorial Building into a stunning events space, ready for the University of Bristol’s strategy launch. 

On the 29^th November, The University of Bristol announced its future strategy, which includes the creation of a multi-million pound second campus in the city, at a ceremony in Bristol. Guests included current students and alumni, as well as a number of high profile attendees including Professor Hugh Brady and Bristol Mayor Marvin Rees. 

Evans Audio Visual Staging called upon Utopium to transform the Wills Memorial Building by supplying outdoor and indoor lighting to illuminate the building. 

For the exterior lighting, Utopium utilised a mixture of Philips Colour Kinetics Colourreach RGB Wash Light, SGM P-5s RGBW Wash Light and SGM I-5’s RGBW Wash Lights, to turn up the exterior of the building red. For the foyer area and stairs Utopium supplied a mixture of Prolights Smartbatt’s Wireless RGBW Uplighter, Chauvet WELL Fits RGBA Uplighter & SGM P-5’s RGBW Wash Lights, to illuminate the entrance area with multicoloured lights.
